Some Important Tips & tricks

IELTS Reading –এ students রা সব থেকে বেশি যে problem টি face করে সেটা হল time management. সাথে সাথে আর অনেক problem face করতে হয়, যে কারনে একজন student desire score পেতে সক্ষম হয় না। এই Lesson-এ আমরা কিছু Effective Tips & tricks দেখবো যেগুলো একজন student  কে কাঙ্ক্ষিত marks পেতে help করবে। Let’s have a look. 

Tips & tricks

• প্রথমে Question এ চলে যাবেন, except for matching heading এছাড়া কখনও passage এ directly চলে যাবেন না।
• Instructions গুলো ভালোভাবে পড়ে বুঝে নিবেন। This is very important তানাহলে প্রশ্ন না বুঝার কারণেই you may lost your marks.
• Reading এর 13 types of questions এর মধ্যে যেগুলো serial maintain করে এবং সহজ,সেগুলো আগে attend করবেন ।
• যে কোন উত্তর সহজে Passage এ পাওয়ার জন্য অবশই key word select করে নিতে হবে।
• Key word হিসাবে noun, adjective, numbers and synonym select করতে হবে যে গুলা Question এবং passage- এ একই ভাবে থাকে। For example : correct কে যদি একটা key word ধরা হয়, এটার synonym ও খুঁজতে হবে যেমনঃ Right/ Accurate/ Exact/ Truthful/ Proper Etc. এমন কি কোন word এর হয়ত phrase ও থাকতে পারে। আবার antonym ও খুঁজতে পারেন, যেমন Correct এর ক্ষেত্রে ‘It won’t be wrong থাকতে পারে,Clear এর ক্ষেত্রে “not dirty থাকতে পারে।
• কিছু ক্ষেত্রে Question এর key word passage এ নাও পাওয়া যেতে পারে। সে ক্ষেত্রে question এর general idea passage এ খুঁজতে হবে এবং একই সাথে যে Question গুলো serial maintain হয় , সে গুলোর ক্ষেত্রে পূর্বের এবং পরের প্রশ্নের location এর দ্বারায় answer এর location পেতে হবে।
• যখনই এক ধরনের প্রশ্নের জন্য Passage এ যেয়ে কিছু sentence পড়বেন, সাথে সাথে key word জাতীয় word গুলো underline করে mark করে রাখবেন।
• Question এর instructions ভালোভাবে পড়ে বুঝে নিবেন, যেন silly ভুল না হয় । যেমন, যেখানে“ no more than two words” বলবে three words ভুল হবে । যদি yes/ no option থাকে, সেক্ষেত্রে true/ false দিবেন না ।
• Question এর answer যে ভাবে question এ থাকবে, সে ভাবেই answer sheet এ লিখতে হবে।
• Answer directly answer sheet এ তুলতে হবে, question paper এ লেখার দরকার নেই । এভাবে time save হবে।
• যেহেতু Negative marking নেই, সেহেতু সব answer লিখতে হবে। ছেড়ে আসা যাবে না।
• কোন Answer না পেলে, অথবা বেশী সময় লাগলে, skip করে যাবেন। পরে সময় পেলে আবার ভালোভাবে পড়ে answer দিতে হবে।
• Spelling এবং grammar checking খুবি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ for all types of answers.
• যখনই Sentence পড়ে বুঝতে কঠিন লাগবে, sentence trim করে মূল তথ্য বুঝতে হবে।
